Who is this guy?
I’m a 5’8” 40 year old, ex smoker, who weighs 192 lbs (as of the start of this blog). But let me set this straight right here and now. This blog is not about weight loss. Sure, that is an aspect of the primal life, but it is not the focus. If you live the life, the weight will come off on it’s own. Put it in the back of your mind and forget about it. What it is about is living as close to the way we were evolved to live. (If you don’t believe in evolution, please press the button and move on to the next blog.)
It’s about an ongoing change in our lifestyles. Not for 30 days, not for 60 days, but for a lifetime. It’s about building your energy, mental clarity, and educating yourself through proper nutrition, and exercise.
And it's simple.
Wow, is it ever simple.
But, back to me…
What makes me an expert on the primal lifestyle?
I am just starting my journey along the path. Today is day 6 for me on the path. Eating clean with a few stumbles along the way. But, I have the support of friends and family (many of whom are joining me along the trip). My energy is up, and my mind is clear. I have goals in my mind that I will share with you all soon. This entry is mostly a meet and greet type of thing.
So, what’s going on today?
Today we are doing our first batch of jerky at home. I will post on that later today.
